Welcome to Botmeur, a small rural commune in the Parc d’Armorique, in the centre of Finistere.
The immediate area, the Monts d’Arée, is notable for its type of landscape and peat marshes, and is full of wildlife and flowers.
Our two gites and B&B are close to many footpaths and cycle tracks, the Lac Saint Michel where you can fish, the legendary forest of Huelgoat, local museums, megaliths and many sites of natural interest.
There is a shop in the village The accommodation is in old local houses of the 18th and 19th century, renovated, but retaining the original stone walls and fireplaces; they are open all year round, and have been awarded 3 épis by the Gites de France.
